WELDCLAD universal flux is specially developed and produced for submerged arc su***cing. It does not contain alloys and consists solely of minerals. This flux exhibits excellent slag removal performance, even at high temperatures. This imported flux is particularly suitable for continuous su***cing operations. The universal flux does not contain alloys and is suitable for use with ferritic submerged arc su***cing wires, which can contain up to 50% alloy content. The universal flux is suitable for single-pass, multi-pass, and oscillating su***cing, as well as single-wire and twin-wire processes. When using this flux for su***cing, the current can reach up to 1200 amps and can be applied in either direct or reverse polarity.
The consumption of welding flux is very low, generally requiring 0.6-0.9 kilograms of welding flux for 1 kilogram of deposited metal. The consumption of welding flux is affected by voltage and su***cing method. The packaging method for general-purpose welding flux is double-layer plastic packaging, with each bag weighing 25 kilograms.
